Beethoven and Brahms

The Sampson Orchestra of Cambridge, conducted by Darrell Davison, performs orchestral works by Beethoven and Brahms. The concert centrepiece is Beethoven's splendid Symphony No. 3, "Eroica", while the soloist item, featuring Alexander Doronin, is Brahms's masterly Piano Concerto No. 1. The local charity which will benefit from this concert is Cambridge Aid (helping local people in crisis).
